Vote in our “State of the Party Survey” – Ideas for electability

Life in opposition is tough, but here at LabourList we’ve spent the last few weeks thinking about some of the innovative policy ideas that could help propel the party back into power. Our “Ideas for electability” series has received a fantastic response from party members and supporters, with many of you sending us your ideas for how Labour can get back into power. The best of these ideas have been posted on LabourList in recent weeks, and this is your opportunity to vote for the policy or idea you think is most important for the party’s future – links to all of the submissions are available below.

However, winning the next election is about more than innovative policy ideas, it’s about how Labour wins the argument in the country. That’s why we’re launching our “State of the Party” survey, which we’ll be carrying out each month to determine how Labour people feel about their party. How do you think Ed Miliband and his cabinet are performing? How should Labour react to coalition cuts? This is your opportunity to tell us what you think, and for the Labour movement to tell the party what we think.
