"So true!"

Quite so. But at least they're better than this lot...

Michael: The potential Chancellor was caught out in the expense scandal, as was the potential Sxchools Secrtary (Gove), not to mention Chris Grayling. Sir John Butterfill has not been disciplined, and remains taking the Tory party whip after being mentioned in "Despatches" on Monday night and Cameron turned a blind eye to the phantom mortgage of Etonian contemporary Charlie Wiggins.

In what way are they "better"?.

And what experience has Osborne had?. If he is as bad at managing the nations finances as his own, look out.
Alan Giles @ 23 weeks ago
Alan, to take your comparison and reverse it, if Gordon Brown is as bad at managing his own finances as he is the nation's then it's no wonder he's so desperate to stay on the gravy train!
Bernard L @ 23 weeks ago
Alan, spot on about Butterfill but Labour can not mention it as the others get thrown back in our face
ian robathan @ 23 weeks ago
Well, yes that's true Ian. Actualy had I been Brown I would have granted Cmeron his public enquiry because it might well have thrown up some more people on the fiddle on his side of the fence. I must say I wasn't very shocked about the ultra-Blairites - people like Hewitt Hoon and Milburn had form long ago, but as I never of tire of pointing out to some of the more beligerant Tories, there are just as many bad apples that side as there is on the Labour one.

I am surprised though that Camern gave Butterfill the "Wiggins" treatment rather than the "Viggers" one. The man reeks of double standards.
Alan Giles @ 23 weeks ago
yes Alan and you have to ask why ?

Butterfill is nothing is he ?

cost nothing to suspend him

So true!

Thank you for supporting so loyally the New Tory party. I never believed someone like you would a thatcherite government. Welcome to the right wing.

Now Alex - where should we hang that portrait of a true giant of politics and friend of the labour party? A pic of the iron lady would be fitting
