After a career in business development and Trade Unionism, Alan Milburn was elected Member of Parliament for Darlington in 1992, and served as Secretary of Health between 1999 and 2003. Since leaving the front bench, Alan has continued to serve his constituency, and was also responsible for the Labour Party’s successful 2005 general election campaign.
