The Co-operative Party has launched a new campaigning manifesto, alongside profiles of the 42 Labour and Co-operative candidates who are standing for parliament in the election – the highest ever number of Co-op candidates fielded.

Candidates include ministers such as Ed Balls, and also new talent including Stella Creasy, Andrew Pakes and Luciana Berger. Gordon Brown is also a member of the Co-operative Party – the first PM ever to be so – but is not an official Co-op candidate.
